The 2014 UEFA Futsal Championship is the 9th official edition of the UEFA European Championship for national futsal teams. The final part of the tournament will be hosted by Belgium and will be eventually scheduled for February 2014. It will be based in the 2013 European Capital of Sport, Antwerp.
Bidding process
Two other nations had made bids for the 2014 Championship: Slovenia and Lithuania. The final decision was taken on December 8, 2011, at the UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Venice, Italy.[1]
